Iranian short film ‘Kasco’ has been set to go on silver screen at the 2nd edition of Geo Film Festival in Italy.
Directed by Mojtaba Ghasemi, ‘Kasco’ is to represent Iran at the main competition section of the Italian film event.
‘Kasco’ is the story of Gholam Eshghi, known as Kasco, who is a deaf man falsely arrested a few times and now he is considered as an ex-convict with a criminal record. This time, after his final release from the detention center, he decides to change the way he lives.
Founded in 2016, The international exhibition Geo Film Festival is held in March every year. Made by the Officina della Idee association, the festival is supported by the Veneto Region and Cittadella’s Municipality and in collaboration with Cittadella Tourist Office.
The 2018 edition of the event is slated for March 1-3.
